Most educational institutions' administrators are concerned about students' irregular attendance. Truancies can affect students' overall academic performance. The conventional method of attendance tracking by calling names or signing on paper is very time consuming and insecure, hence inefficient. Our new RFID based time and attendance system using a Biometric Attendance Machine and Fingerprint Reader, is one of the solutions to address this problem. This system can be used to take attendance for a student in school, college, and university.
The ability of RFID attendance system to easily identify a person RFID TAG that make the student attendance easier and student can able to just placed their ID card on the machine and their attendance is taken. This makes the attendance system fast and efficient.
